Do you buy Ladybird Books?

We are always interested in buying quality Ladybird books, whether it is a single book or a larger collection.The condition of the books is most important. All books must have their spines intact, be clean and have no writing in or on them. The edition of the book is another consideration. We are usually only looking for first editions or early editions of the books. With some of the more popular series this may not be as important.

I want to find a full set of the Peter and Jane books. How can I get hold of it today?

The Keywords Series 641 is still in print today and can be bought either from local bookshops or directly from Ladybird Books.

The books were first issued in 1964 and whilst the covers of the books have changed the text has only changed slightly. The illustrations inside were revised around 1980 so if you are looking for the older illustrations you need to be looking for those with the older artwork like these here.

I can’t see the book I want on your website. Can you get it for me?

With our free “BOOK FINDER” service simply let us know the book you are looking for. We will enter all of your information onto our database. When we get the book in stock we will send you a quote giving you all the details and the price. Let us know if it is the book you are looking for. There is no obligation on you to make a purchase.

How do I pay for my order?

Once you have selected your books click on the shopping cart symbol above. A box will appear underneath with the word "Checkout". Click here and you will go to your "Shopping Cart". You can now select one of the three Postal Options - UK, Europe or Rest of the World. When you have done this you will now see the total (including the postage) which you need to pay. 

We offer 3 methods of payment, By Post, Google Wallet and by Paypal. Please note at present we cannot accept card payments over the phone.

PAYMENT BY POST

Pay with your credit or debit card.

From your "SHOPPING CART" select the "GOOGLE WALLET" option at the bottom right of the screen. You will be taken to the "Google WALLET" secure payment site. If you do not have an account you will be asked to open one. Google will then request that you verify your account by e-mail. Once verification is completed you will be directed to an order page where you can confirm your order.

Google Wallet provide a safe and secure online payment service to many thousands of online merchants and consumers. Please note that when you purchase this way we do not have access to any of your payment details. We only see details of your name and address which will enable us to send your order.

PAYMENT BY PAYPAL 

Pay using your credit or debit card with or without a Paypal account.

From you "SHOPPING CART" select the "CHECKOUT" option at the bottom right of the screen. You will be taken to our "Checkout Page". When you have completed the form you will find the "PAY BY PAYPAL" option at the bottom of the screen. Selecting this option will take you to the secure Paypal  payments site where your payment can be made.

Please note that Paypal provide a safe and secure online payment service. We do not have access to any of your payment details. We are simply informed when the payment has been made and provided with details of your name and address to enable us to dispatch your order. 

If you haven't got a Paypal account

Paypal will allow you to pay without having to open an account with them for up to 10 transactions. After this an account will be required.

Creating a Paypal account 

Your order can be paid for by credit or debit card via PayPal. If you already have a PayPal account you can also pay with your PayPal balance.

PayPal is used worldwide to pay for goods on millions of websites its safe, secure and totally free to set up.

If you don’t have a Paypal Account you can easily register and set one up, all you need is an email address.

Europe Prices

1          Ladybird Book   = £3.90
2 to 4   Ladybird Books = £5.35
5 to 6   Ladybird Books = £6.80

Rest of the World Prices

1          Ladybird Book   = £5.10
2 to 4   Ladybird Books = £7.95
5 to 6   Ladybird Books = £10.80
