Dispatch Policy

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched within 48 hours. If there is a delay we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.

Prices and Tax

The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown in the Shopping Cart once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order. As a guide the cost for standard Ladybird books is as follows - Postage within the UK 1 book is £1.60 - each additional book is around 60p extra, in Europe 1 Book = £3.65 - each additional book is around 80p. Rest of the World 1 Book = £5 - each additional book is around £1.30. Delivery to non-European countries may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties.

Cancellation and Returns

Please contact us on 08432 898490 or by e-mail if you have received an item which is not as we described it. We will either replace it or give a full refund.

We also have a 14 day no quibbles returns policy. Please return the goods back to us in the condition that they were received. We will refund the price you paid. Refunds will be processed once the original item has been returned to us. Under this "No quibbles" policy please note that it is the Customer who is responsible for the return postage cost. Please allow approximately 5 working days for the refund to be processed.


Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.

Consumer Rights

None of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory consumer rights.

What information do we collect?

When ordering from our website certain personal contact details must be given, including name, postal address and email address. We do retain this information but in no circumstances is data divulged to third parties. 

We do not have access to any other payment information as secure payments are made through our payment gateways PayPal or Google Checkout. They simply send us a  confirmation that the payment has been made with details of where to send the order.
